There is certainly good cause to fear for our future, but not so much as to abandon all hope. Lately I’ve felt that our civilization is on the event horizon of a deep and dark hole, desperately flailing about for something to hold onto. I believe the next decade will determine whether we drop into the hole or claw our way from the precipice.
Pray for the best, live as righteously as possible while preparing for the worst would seem the most rationale way forward.

I have hope, especially as Gen Z seems to be more conservative than previous generations.
