I’m normally a very slow writer because I edit as I go along. My average writing session lasts about three hours, at the end of which I produce about 500 words. For the remainder of the year I’m going to try something new. Following Chris Fox’ Advice, I will seperate writing from editing. With relentless practice of his technique, Fox believes that one can expect to eventually be able to write three to five thousand words an hour!
It’s quite a claim, I know. But I’m up to giving it a go. I’m starting tomorrow though I may not be too consistent with it the first week or two. It all depends on hurricane Irma’s impact on my immediate area.
